One to one, face to face or online maths tuition

I have worked with Alan in two of my schools in the NE, he always puts the kids’ interests first. He and his teams improved the students grade boundaries on average by 1.6 in a week.

We were introduced to Alan after our daughter had to be home tutored due to medical reasons. We were new to the whole experience of tutoring, our daughter was very nervous & lacking in confidence, but we didn’t need to worry. Alan is superb at his job, he learnt our daughters capabilities early on, knew when she was starting to get poorly and tailored her learning around this. Our daughter has learnt so much in a fun & memorable way that suits her way of thinking, nothing is too much trouble & Alan ensures that what has been taught is understood. Our daughter is now confident to say if she doesn’t understand & will question why you do things in certain ways. Alan always puts our daughters medical needs first & makes sure that she knows her health is the priority, then from there she will learn.
Unfortunately/ fortunately our journey is coming to an end, but we feel privileged that our daughter had the support, fun, chats & never-ending intelligence (in many subjects!) from Alan! Thank you for helping her to aim for her best & believe in herself 😊

Great tutoring experience explained everything so clearly on my level and focused on everything I needed to do and boosted me up a whole grade from 4 to 5 in my GCSE’s and no way I would of got it otherwise. Definitely worth it!

We have used several tutors over the years but Alan is the only one where we have heard our kids laugh during a maths lesson. Each session is tailored to their abilities

Excellent service provided to my 13 year old, each lesson tailor made to suit which has helped my child to come on leaps and bounds with her studies largely due to the expertise in core subjects patience understanding and tailor making each lesson specifically to suit her needs by her tutor Alan

Alan has been tutoring my son for his Maths GCSE. He has been really great with him , he explains things so he understands and has prepared him well for his exams. My son really enjoys going to the lessons and has gained a lot of confidence and knowledge .

Excellent maths tutor/mentor!!! Our son actually looks forward to maths now instead of dreading it.
